Erie, Pennsylvania, Wednesday, May 2 – The Erie BayHawks saw a great deal of success during the 2011-12 season and the good fortune continued on Wednesday as two players received recognition for their play. BayHawks D.J. Kennedy and Mychel Thompson were elected to the All-Rookie Second Team, as voted on by all 16 NBA Development League coaches. Kennedy also was named to the All-NBA D-League honorable mention squad.

Erie, Pennsylvania, Thursday, April 12 – The Erie BayHawks were able to commandeer their first round series, downing the Austin Toros by a final score of 108-95 in game one. Erie, the fifth seed, was able to put together a solid team effort in their double-digit victory over Austin, the playoff’s three seed. Seven of the nine BayHawks who saw action scored in double figures, led by D.J. Kennedy and New York Knicks assignment player Jerome Jordan, who both scored 19 points.

Erie, Pennsylvania, April 10, 2012 – The New York Knicks today re-assigned center Jerome Jordan to the Erie BayHawks, the Knicks’ NBA D-League affiliate. The assignment mark the 64th time an NBA player has been assigned to his NBA D-League affiliate during the 2011-12 season and is the third and final assignment for Jordan this season.
