SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. (March 30, 2012) – The Edinboro softball team evened its conference record with a doubleheader sweep of Slippery Rock by holding on for a 6-4 win in the opener before a convincing 7-1 decision.

Tabitha Bemis set the school record in Long Jump and 100 meter hurdles. In Long Jump she finished 4th in the Raleigh Relays at North Carolina State with a jump of 5.90 meters which was a provisional NCAA mark. She finished 11th in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 14.39 which was also a provisional NCAA mark.
